Set up your follow-up emails
Along with your pages, ACM builds a full follow-up email sequence
for every Machine — with your affiliate link already inside every message.
Here's what they're for and how to put them to work.
What these emails are
When someone opts in on your squeeze page, that's just the start. Most people
don't buy the first time they see an offer, so the follow-up is where a promotion
does most of its work. ACM's sequence keeps gently pointing your new subscriber
back to the offer over the following days, so you're never relying on a single
visit.
Every email is ready to go: a subject line, the message body, and your
affiliate link already wired in. There's nothing to edit.
Where to find them
Open your Machine and go to Step 4: Your Machine is live. Under
Load your emails, click View your emails to expand the full sequence
— each one shows its subject line and body. (You can also preview them right
after Step 2.)
What to do with them
Your one job is to load them into your autoresponder as a scheduled
follow-up series — a set of emails that go out automatically, one per
day, to everyone who joins your list. You set it up once and it runs on its own.
Use the same list as Step 3
Put these emails into the same list you chose for this Machine in
Step 3. That's the list your opt-ins are added to, so it's the list that
needs the follow-up series.
Step by step
- Open your autoresponder and find the list you chose in Step 3.
- Find its follow-up sequence. Every provider has one, just under a
different name: AWeber calls it a Campaign, GetResponse an
Autoresponder or Automation, MailerLite and Mailvio an
Automation, SendShark a follow-up series.
- Add a message for each ACM email, in order. Copy the subject line
into the subject field and the body into the message. Start with Email 1,
then Email 2, and so on.
- Space them one day apart — Email 1 straight away,
Email 2 a day later, and so on down the list.
- Turn the sequence on. From now on, everyone who opts in gets the
whole series automatically.
Don't touch the link
Your affiliate link is already inside every email. Copy them across exactly as
they are — nothing to add or change.
A few tips
- Keep ACM's order. The emails build on each other, so load
them in the order shown.
- One list per Machine. If you run more than one Machine,
give each its own list and its own copy of that Machine's emails, so the
right offer follows the right subscriber.
- Set it and forget it. Once the series is live it keeps
following up for you automatically — you just keep sending traffic.
